Glowworm - Arachnocampa (Shot with a slow shutter). Commonly known as New Zealand glowworm or simply glowworm, is a species of fungus gnat endemic to Australia and New Zealand. Both the larval stage and the imago are luminescent. Similar to spiders, they produce long, sticky threads to catch passing invertebrates such as mosquitoes and midges. The species was filmed in an abandoned train tunnel but is known to dwell in wet caves, grottoes and sheltered, humid places in forests.
